For those arriving …

… by car

San Candido is conveniently located and can be easily reached via various routes:

  • Take the Brennero Motorway A22 to the Bressanone/Varna exit, then continue on the Val Pusteria state road (SS49-E66) to San Candido.
  • From East Tyrol (A) via Lienz – Silliano on the state road B100-E66 to San Candido
  • From Friuli via Tolmezzo, Forni Avoltri, Sappada, Santo Stefano and the Passo di Monte Croce di Comelico/Sesto to San Candido.

Parking is available directly at the Zin Senfter Residence.

… by train

Comfortable and environmentally friendly travel to South Tyrol by train:

  • With international train connections from DB (Deutsche Bahn) and ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railways) to Franzensfeste/Fortezza, then continue on the Val Pusteria railway to San Candido.
  • From Klagenfurt via Lienz directly to San Candido.
  • Trenitalia’s Frecciargento trains take you from Rome to Bolzano in around four hours – from there, you can continue to San Candido by local train or a shuttle bus running several times a week.
